The designers of the Estonian Fashion Festival 2025 have been selected and we are pleased to announce that N-20 Studio will participate in the Antonius Fashion Show with the collection NAÏVE.
NAÏVE gives voice to our inner child and forbids us from suffocating ourselves with excessive “adultness”. It is important to dare to try (even play at times), discarding unnecessary rationalities. Often, these can be hidden doubts that are labeled as adult behavior/thoughts. At this point, not all rationalities are unnecessary or bad, but we must find a balance and allow ourselves to discover and learn. Because even making mistakes is instructive and useful. This is where experience, development, a stronger sense of self, our desires, longings, and character come from. Therefore, NAÏVE encourages us to be playful, curious, experimental, and to bring out our individuality!
NAÏVE reminds us to follow our inner “I” voice and allow ourselves the eccentricity that comes with it. To act according to the urges that arise, through which we can find ourselves and our spark - something that motivates and makes us feel confident. We have this freedom to be ourselves. The right to experiment, learn, express, PLAY - activity that is only allowed to children according to the norm of society, but which is also very necessary for adults to find themselves and grow their confidence. These are values that are necessary for being “an adult”, but which can be achieved with a certain naivety.
NAÏVE was born thanks to the beginning of Birgit Peerna and Helen-Mary Vartšun's collaboration under N-20 Studio. The collection was also inspired by Helen-Mary's last year's collection Flower Chils*ish. A big factor in the creation of NAÏVE is also the need to value leather as a material. Therefore, the collection is made from leather scraps and deadstock from industries. Why not give the material a new life through fun and unique accessories?
Antonius Fashion Show is part of the Estonian Fashion Festival program. The show will take place on June 14 in Tartu. Antonius Fashion Show presents ready-to-wear fashion and values sustainability. The collections presented are aimed at people of different ages and body types.
